It passed inspection! A dash of foam in the rusty chassis, a dab of bitumen coating to make it look like new, and some encouragement for the inspector did the trick.
I’ll enjoy it during the summer with the roof off and then maybe sell it off to someone else to bothe r with inspection next year... In the meantime I’ll have my eyes on the classifieds. I think a Volvo 850 wagon could be a good idea. The great sounding VW 5 cylinder, leather lugxxhury interior, AC, boxy looks. It’s the exact opposite of a Twingo lol!
See ya. The
Twingo life
continues, for now.

Yep, still an option! If I did that, it would have to be the faster and newer
16valve, and have AC, and I would definitely go for the canvas top again.
I’d also
move my cool seats into it. We’ll see.

Yay! Glad that the T
wingo passed! Keep i
n
mind that the Volvo could be a lot more expensive to maintain if something goes wrong!

Aha, all that was missing from your last inspection was paying attention to when the offer of graft was extended. Encouraging results this time helped.

I can recommend the 16v engine, it’s quite punchy for a 1.2 once it gets up in the rev range. I mean it’s still not fast , but at least it loves to rev and makes you feel fast while going slow

“Twingo intensifies”?
